in my opinion, i believe with the statement my new friend, steve, made in a tribalPM meeting.
when asked about this very topic, steve replied, "I HAVE NO BUSINESS MESSING WITH ANOTHER WOMAN. NOT DINNER, NOT A CUP OF COFFEE, and I BARELY EVEN SHAKE ANOTHER WOMAN'S HANDS." I AGREE WITH STEVE.
now as for how long after, again just my opinion, i would say that depends on how strong the commitment to the marriage before divorce AND whether or not children are involved.
first of all, i want to thank you for the support. I also get alot of support from this person that i talk to and drink with every .now and then. i havent drank since monday of this week. no i do not know what their downfalls were. please explain what their downfalls are.
anonymous, SAMSON's demise, his downfall was Delilah.
SOLOMON's demise, his downfall were women. His heart turned away from God AND towards these women's false gods.
So the bottom line is this, my friend: Temptation with women took out the STRONGEST MAN, AND THE WISEST MAN, why would you think you would fair any different than them.
bruther, don't hang out temptation. EVERYBODY loses when we do.
they way that i look at it, if the marriage is over then a person should be free to talk or date other people if they choose so. I idont think that there should be a time limit on when a person has to wait after a divorce is final. Im not going to go out and look for a girlfriend but if there is a connection between me and a female, then yea i would probley date her. im not saying that i want to get remarried anytime soon. i want to stay single for awhile. i have to many plans i want to get done before i get remarried. by the way, the blog with all capital letters is not my response.
brother bigblue, perhaps the point where your walk may be taking a stumble is your ability to FAST FORWARD your mindset.
check this ... If you can play with fire and not get burned, well then GO FOR IT. i can't . no way. i'm too weak to even consider what you're proposing. in short, i can't do it.
so i guess where im at the point in life wghere i should only focus on getting my life on track with God, focusing on my girls and getting my education and forget about women trying to "date" a certain women. not trying to make anyone mad by what i just said.
I have been divorced. Although it took 2 years before it was final, he didn't want to give it to me, and I didn't have the money, I did date.
He cheated on me. I busted him, and tried, but we couldn't put it back togethre again. I also didn't go to divorec recovery. I don't think i needed that. So, I would say wait at least 9 months after it's final .

i kinds feel that this was geared towards me and i feel under attack here.
I'M SORRY. NO ATTACK INTENDED here.
only support.
let me try explaining it this way.
if you were climbing up a ladder, say for a fireman's test.
and the goal is to climb up within a certain amount of time AND you had to carry a dead person's weight too.
would it make sense to add a backpack , and then to put 10 lb ROCKS in the backpack?
i mean isn't the goal to get the dead person's up the ladder?
the 10 lb rocks symbolize UNNECESSARY WEIGHT. LIFE IS TOUGH ALREADY.
the strongest man, SAMSON , do you know what his downfall was?
how about the wisest man, SOLOMAN, do you know what his downfall was?
please reply with the answers

WHAT'S THE BIG DEAL? LOOK, IF THE MARRIAGE IS OVER, WHY DOES IT MATTER IF YOU GET A HEADSTART ON MAKING ANOTHER GO OF IT?
dear "BIG DEAL" - ARE YOU SERIOUS, REALLY OR ARE YOU JUST TRYING to get a rise?

hey guys, sup?
anyways, i spoke with a friend who recently attended DIVORCE RECOVERY.
kudos to him.
he mentioned to me that the instructor said that a divorcee ought not to DATE FOR AT LEAST 3 YEARS.
AND THAT REMARRIAGE SHOULD BE IN ABOUT 5 YEARS.
WOW! guess the instructor knows and/or has seen what happens when divorcees SHORTCUT the process
I have been divorced. Although it took 2 years before it was final, he didn't want to give it to me, and I didn't have the money, I did date.

thanksgiving anonymous.
i'm sorry you two were unable to keep it together.
