Richard Blackaby a speaker at the Promise Keeper Conference said "what we say illustrates how deep we are with Christ." So my question is how do WE go deep with Christ and what areas do we need help catching the long touchdown pass for HIM??

i need help gettin out of the way.
like a pulling guard, i must stay clear of the running back's lane.
i can't get in the way if my goal is to score.
in other words, i must ALLOW Christ to have HIS own way. set mine aside (in the trash basket) & listen, obey, and be ready to move forward with the next set of instructions.
let me be more specific.
JESUS wants me to imitate HIM.
so i need to love my friends where they're at BECAUSE JESUS LOVES ME WHERE I'M AT.
I think that I need help running my route for the touchdown. What I mean is that I need to let GOD be more of my quarterback and tell mw what route to run instead of running my own. I know that with GOD telling me what to do I will score with more frequently than Randy Moss, or Terrell Owens. I also need to stop trying to call what plays I want to see, and let GOD be my guide.
to go deep with christ, i guess i must be willing to run the pattern, play after play, regardless if i'm the primary reciever or NOT.
i must be willing to execute my given assignment WITH ALL THAT IS WITHIN ME.
i must be willing to wait.
to wait for the moment, THE ONE, calls my number. the moment i get to go further with THE MASTER.

I found a way to go real deeeeep today. I had a though enter my mind last night telling me to invite Samwise to lunch at Crackel Barrel. During our lunch we asked our waitress if we can pray for her. She told us that she was having money problems and to pray for that. After we ate and prayed we started talking to her and come to find out that she believes in GOD but has become disconnected from him. As we talked to her we gave her our business card and told her to check out our web site. We learned a lot about her and the problems that she is having. I hope that we have inspired her to check out this blog as well as check out our web site. We hope to see her again and see how she is doing. I pray that she gets reconnected with GOD and renew the FIRE in her to follow GOD and to empty her wheel barrel.
I believe often we don't go deep enough to make the catch which for me is to get the play book and study it in depth, and if we don't then that's how we back slide and miss the the whole play!!!!!!

i am in total agreement with the whole playbook concept.
perhaps a fresh fire for the words of THE ONE would help us adjust our current pattern of futility.
today i heard a preacher talk about JOB. he said that JOB was albe to go thru what he went thru because of this ...
JOB, WAS ABLE TO BELIEVE IN GOD, BECAUSE HE HAD ALREADY DECIDED WHAT HE BELIEVED ABOUT GOD.
perhaps this statement, if we can actually adopt it, perhaps we could go deeper with GOD.
