sometimes it feels that you are in a rut. or that things just get so complicated that you cant find a way to dig your self out of a hole that you don't even realize you are even in.what do you do then? I myself have found that in the last month or so i have put God on that back burner. i usually get to listen to podcast,and talk to Sam on a daily basis. but do to the circumstances at work i have not been able to.Man i had forgotten how hard it is to really to walk with God with out my batle buddy. I have found out that with out that drive and encouragement that satan is always one step ahead of me, waiting around that corner. examples, my languague would embaress a sailor somedays. stress at work goes in the front door before i even get out of the truck, my attitude towards life in general justs plain SUCKS!!!!!!! and all be cause i stopped talking and walking and reading. For you peoples that are reading this and can relate, STOP right now and pray that you need to make it right. first with Him than with yourself then with the rest. I took time today to talk with God and really didnt say much. But It was the fact that i talked That he made me realize that nothing has changed. he never left i just quit talking to him. Life has a way of getting in the way sometimes, but that really is a false statement. We let life get in the way all the time. God bless all those who read and understand just what a fingerprint really looks like. FRODO.
my friend is hurting. hurting real bad for his son's plight. i hurt with him. during a conversation thursday, i shared with him a word picture. IF YOU REMOVE A CHARCOAL FROM THE GRILL, THE COAL WILL REMAIN HOT. BUT ONLY FOR A MOMENT. WITHOUT THE HEAT THAT COMES FROM OTHER COALS, IT TOO, COOLS OFF, THEN BURNS OUT. WE, CHRIST FOLLOWERS, LIKE THE COALS NEED OTHER BELIEVERS TO KEEP OUR FIRE FOR JESUS BURNING TOO.
today he told me that he shared this with others,including his pastor. they too were reminded that we need OTHER CHRIST FOLLOWERS in our daily walk.
tuesday nite i saw a connection among two men who didn't know each other ... or did they. come to find out, they went to the same school in illinois back in the late 80's. tuesday nite, i think i saw a new friendship. tribalPM was the catalyst for this. TRUE THAT.

my son, elijah has a relationship, a life saving one, with Christ.
at vbs, he was able to help a boy better understand how he too could have the same relationship.
this was shared with me by the counselor.
this made me so proud. so proud that my son is processing and practicing the jesuslife.
this to me is a fingerprint, evidence, if you will, that God is touching parts of my family.

welcome back - i too, have been absent, or as you wrote, i let life get in the way.
the imprint, fingerprint, i believe i'm seeing in my soul can be described as the handprint on a table full of dust.
you can clearly see the handprint, because of the thickness of the dust.
my failure to walk straight - EVEN when not under plain attack - is pathetic.
i so want to follow jesus, yet my actions contradict me so often.
you're right about the battle buddy part too, i find i'm an EASIER target and stay down longer when i walk alone.
